Not only is she respectful and professional, but from the moment you meet her she makes you feel like you are a priority client. She went above and beyond for me with selling my home, including chasing after my dog that escaped during staging photos. She got to know me as a person, not just another client, and understood the importance of what selling my house means to me. She listened to me, and was shoulder to cry on when things got a little rough during this process. She helped me navigate and troubleshoot issues that came up with selling my home and was a world knowledge for me with respects to home improvements and repairs. Are you a first time home buyer? Are you clueless what you should be looking for in a home? Or are you just completely lost in this housing market? If any of this sounds like you, you need to call Amber. My husband and I moved to Hartford in 2019. We were clueless and had no idea where to start our house search, so one of our friend referred us to Amber. I called Amber that day and we immediately started the house hunt. Then 2020 rolled in and hello pandemic. Housing market went through the roof, people from out of nowhere are buying the houses in cash, and the market is slimming down. Husband and I actually gave up during the middle of 2020 because of how crazy everything was. Amber was honest with us and gave us the real facts with the market. 2021 came and we started to look again because we had a feeling this was the year. I think we looked at 20 houses in a span of 8 months. And every time we looked, Amber gave us HONEST facts about the house. If she said no to a house, it is a NO. She will not let us put down an offer unless she FIRMLY believes. We even looked at a house and didn't even go to the lower level because Amber say it is not worth it. She protected us and she sees everything in a house with an eagle eye. Amber looks for good bones in house, foundation, electrical, heating, mold, you name it! She will not miss the smallest detail of the house. We came from a city where the oldest house we saw was like early 80s, there is no such thing as an oil tank or foundation issues. So having someone like Amber who is so knowledgeable about houses is such a blessing! She was with us through thick and thin. After our long journey, we found a house in a neighborhood we wanted. Amber was with us through the whole process as we were running around like headless chickens. She held our hands and guided us step by step and said goodbye for now in our closing day. If you are a first time home buyer or even need someone who is honest and stands by you during this BIG purchase of your life, call Amber because she will be your one. read less

Long story short my mom... read moreSo I took somethime to make this review because I want to get it right. Long story short my mom had a stroke in the beginning of the year. I needed to buy a house so I could take care of her. So in March I started working with Amber Everin and her team. I could tell from the get go she would be just what I need. She is extremely knowledgeable, very direct about everything and very passionate about get the right place for each client nothing short of exactly what you need. This is my first house I spent 4 months in a crazy dash looking. First houses online. Then I would do a drive by to see if I like the location and house. Then Amber and I would go see it. 2 to 4 every other day or so. Mind you I was lucky and set my preference wide to try to do this as fast as possible. That being said I didn't care what I was stuck with. Amber wasn't having any of that. She intesisted that I actually love what I buy. She told me because I needed to be happy too. I am so grateful that she did. 6 different bids on 6 houses in 4 months. Talk about a worlwin. But I am so happy with where I am now not only the house but me as well. You see I have allways been good at advice but bad at taking my own. Aging Amber helped me set me straight lol. When I say she puts her hart and soul into her work I mean it. She gose all out for each client because she really cares and it shows. Not only did I get  this house because of her reputation but in 4 months I saw constant heartfelt reviews being posted. 



Next my sister and I had to sell my moms place now that was a nightmare but she guided us threw expertly. Even when I started to go a little crazy. I mean I was scrubing down all the walls. She again set me straight. Her and her team made sure we got the best deal possible on my moms place it wasn't in the best of shape and she was honest about it. No sugar coating or hiding facts even to the new buyers. If I could give her a billion stars on a review I would. She has done more than I would have would ever asked of anyone to make sure that my mom and I would be all set.



 So when I say you need not look any further to find the best realtor anywhere on this planet I mean it. I send out prayers that she gets back 10 fold what she's put out to others. She really deserves it. She will have your back too. read less

We've been looking at homes for a while now, and Amber has been nothing but patient showing us many homes. We finally found the home of our dreams. She was recommended by a friend and we both connected with Amber from our very first meeting.  It took us two years to finally find the right house for us. In those two years, Amber did not disappoint. She’s a genuine person who is extremely honest. My husband is a meticulous and thorough person and he definitely met his match with Amber. She never pushed us to buy and on any occasion, she even rejected houses for us just by first glance. She has a nose of a hound dog and could smell mold or water damage as soon as we stepped foot in the house.  Amber was brutally honest about her assessments in the houses and she was equally personable and funny. She was easy going to work. We love her so much and can’t recommend her enough. Me being excited to be a home owner, of course I wanted to buy the first thing that I liked, however I learned along the way that a house my be pleasing to the eye on the surface, but you can be blind to what it really is. Amber gets down and dirty and is brutally honest to her clients. She opens your eyes to all the things that need work. Things I would never even thought of being an issues and things that sellers try to hide that would cause serious problems down the road for the new homeowner. When we looked at the one I just purchased, we looked at each other and both said "this is the one".  Her and her assistant Diane have guided me all the way through the process and informed me of what to expect. They both have been available 24/7 to answer all my questions. It's not about selling houses to her, it's about finding what's best for her clients and that statement holds very true for me. read less

Amber is brutally honest when it comes to homes and their conditions because she does not want to see her clients in homes that are not a good fit, that is something I loved about her. She told me upfront what is wrong with the house, not just the good but the bad and ugly parts, this saved me from getting stuck in a house that would need a lot of work.

Put a side her vast knowledge, experience and commitment level she is a relator that isn't showing you the homes, she gets to know you, looks at homes  as if she was buying it. There are times as a buyer you try to look at features of a house but sometimes can be blinded by shiny things, she has that "tough love" about her and is straight with you good bad or indifferent. She will always tell you the good and the bad about a house even if you can't see it. We always looked forward to looking at house with her, couldn't pick a better agent. read less

Amber is friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and is always willing to accommodate multiple showings on any day of the week despite her busy schedule. She is also very protective of her clients and did not compel us into buying homes. Throughout our home buying journey she assured us to be patient and made us believe that there was a home just for us. Amber also works with a team of like-minded individuals who have been equally important in our home buying process. She introduced us to the lending agent (mortgage bank) and the attorney, who all have been incredibly nice to work with. Amber answered every question and her team of people are amazing to work with. Amber sold my friend, and my friend's father, their homes. I also got a recommendation from my old manager who said her husband worked with Amber and she was one of, if not the top ranked realtor in her office, in CT, and in the top 3% nationally. 



I had no idea what I was getting into looking at houses for the first time. I would see something that looked nice in pictures and Amber would have no problem ripping it apart when we got there - in a good way. She would inspect the roofs, the foundations, the furnaces, water pumps, everything. She would walk around the house and pull out the siding to look at what was going on underneath. She took a personal interest to make sure I wasn't going to end up in a fixer upper, a money pit, or something with hidden costs. 



She coached me and guided me through the entire process. Looking at houses she would tell me what could or couldn't be rehabbed and estimated costs. Every question I had she (or her assistant) answered within an hour, day, night, or weekend.  I felt like I was going through this process with a friend giving me honest advice, who wanted to make sure I was happy and ended up in the right house for me, and I could not be more pleased with the whole experience.
